Rational or wise
I just found maself in a situational thought today about loyalty and bravery. The question on my mind was ; "does being being brave mean to loose or rational behavior or does loyalty call for loss of wisdom ? "
Then i remembered a question a niggah asked me a while ago "your best friend shows up on your door at night, with a dead body in the trunk of his car and he asks you for help" what do u do
a) U become rational and wise. Call the popo and explain the situation
b) grab a shovel
We all would say B. But that is because its a figurative thought. Aint that gonna happen in reality
But here is the thing that i realised loyalty and bravery. Is a personal mark. To some loyalty stops where the morals of society deem acceptable.
If you go further than that your so called friend will deny you
We all know people like that. I wont lie that finding a friend that is ready to risk it all for you is easy. Understand his sacrifice though
1. he is leaving his morals to stick with you. That is loyalty
2. he is willing to fight all odds with you. That is bravery
3. In case your a christian, he might be loosing his soul
That is why most people are more rational than brave and give up easily. They consider their lives prio to anything, they love themselves to much to let go. But what if we shared that love. Shit wont go south and the world wouldnt be a crap. Right
Before though consider this. Is my rationality and sense of moral making me a better person. Towards my friends and myself
And although I want people to go out of line for me would i do that same thing for them ?
Meditate on that
